Outreach Community Ministries

Provides Christian ministry, outreach, training, and educational support for those in the lower-income neighborhoods of Carol Stream. Outreach serves vulnerable people through relationships and community services that prepare them to reach their God-given potential. Their staff, donors, volunteers, and church and community partners work together to bridge the gaps with services and programs that address their physical, emotional, academic, social, and spiritual needs.

Caring Network

Provides counseling and care for women with unplanned pregnancies, along with their families. Their mission is to mobilize God's people to bring his love and compassion to abortion-minded women, equipping them to choose life; both physical and spiritual.

World Relief

World Relief provides practical help, support, and friendship to immigrants and refugees who are settling in the Chicagoland area. Their mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church.

Safe Families

Provides temporary homes and support for children in crisis situations. Safe Families for Children (SFFC) exists to practice radical hospitality within communities, addressing the challenges of social isolation, limited access to resources, and parental stress that often leads to foster care and family separation. They provide an innovative, evidence-based approach that supports parents by connecting them to a caring network of relationships and resources before child welfare involvement becomes necessary. By walking alongside families, they provide a safety net of support and stand in the gap to keep more children safe and families together!

Naomi's House

Provides care for women who have been exploited and abused through sex trafficking. Naomi's House exists to be the place where women feel safe to work through the trauma of the past and build a healthy future on their own terms.

By The Hand Club for Kids

By The Hand is a Christ-centered, after-school program that takes kids by the hand and walks with them from kindergarten through college, loving and nurturing them—mind, body and soul. By The Hand began in 2001 with 16 children from Cabrini-Green. Since then, they have witnessed transformation within the lives of kids—and within their organization. They serve more than 2,000 kids from Cabrini-Green, Altgeld-Murray, Austin, North Austin and Englewood.
